Dame of Fragrance

We live and work in Edmonton, Canada, on the land traditionally called amiskwaciwâskahikan / ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ in Treaty Six Territory. We would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors have been the stewards of the aromatic flora and fauna of this territory since time immemorial, such as nêhiyaw (Cree), Dené, Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Nakota Isga (Nakota Sioux), and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) peoples. We also acknowledge this as the Métis’ homeland and the home of one of the largest communities of Inuit south of the 60th parallel. May we work together towards reconciliation as treaty people, honouring all our relations.
